The term stress has become widely used for a bad reputation. It is usually used to either let people know not to give us more to deal with them or know how much we are already doing, how busy and it's important we are. In addition to personal connotations that each of us puts the stress in the next article we will look at areas where stress can be good and where it is bad.
What is stress?
is not easy to find a generally acceptable definition of 'stress'. Doctors, engineers, psychologists, business consultants, linguists and lay people all use the word in her own way with their own definition. Stress is basically a demand made on the adaptive abilities of the mind and body'.
This definition is useful in three ways:
(1) Stress can be both good and bad,
(2) Not so much the events that determine whether we are under stress or not, it is our reaction to them, and
(3) the definition tells us that stress is a demand made on the capacity of the body. If our facilities are good enough, we can respond well. If not enough, we give way.
Due to excessive stress in our modern lives, we usually think of stress as a negative experience, but from a biological point of view, the stress may be neutral, negative or positive experience.
physiologists define stress as the way the body reacts to stress, real or imagined, a stimulus that causes stress. Acute stress affects the body in the short term, long-term chronic stress
.Good stress
The reality is that we experience some form of stress daily. If the stress level in relation to our ability to cope with it is in balance, a good stress helps us to achieve and finish things. If, for example, suddenly you realize that it was 12:00, and we still have to go to the supermarket to buy food for lunch, we could experience the rush of adrenaline, feeling a little rushed, and yet we are coming out of the door and back in time for lunch is ready when the children return to school.
Bad stress
insist that it is not adequately managed to cause pain, anxiety and withdrawal behaviors as a potential depression. Not that we can determine the specific type of stress is unhelpful, as it has the potential to become unhealthy over time unless addressed, learn to cope or adapt to what it brings stress.
